I have not been feeling well for several months. I seem to have a good 4-5 days here and there and then I am down again with fatigue, headaches, upper right side pain, cold symptoms, bruising, etc. I have had several blood tests that have all come back normal. Had a chest xray that was normal. The dr. has been thinking it is a virus of some sort and that I am just worn down. I am beginning to think there may be something more serious going on. My GP wants to see me again next week to "go over symptoms". I have already seen him 2 or 3 times for this illness. I just don't see the sense in going in again. Any suggestions on what to ask him? I think it may be time to get a second opinion but I don't know what type of dr. I would see. My GP is just that--a general practicioner/family dr. I use to see an internist and maybe that is what I need to do now. Thought of seeing an endocrinologist. I would like my GP to order any additional tests he thinks might solve the puzzle but I'm not sure he thinks things need to be pursued but I do. I am so frustrated by all this. Having to take it easy is not in my nature. Any thoughts, suggestions from anyone would be appreciated. Thanks.

from a pain management specialist. I get trigger point injections about once a month. Helps for a little while.

If you read some of the other posts you will find that alot of people are first diagnosed with a virus. Then FM/CFS hits.

    Hope some of this helps.

Good luck, God Bless, and welcome.
