    Hello Everyone ~

I have been trying to look up information on tests that were recently done on my husband. Along with extreme fatigue, he has been having severe pain all over his body, even into his toes and fingers. The doctor said he does not have fibromyalgia. They did some blood tests trying to determine the cause. I was wondering if anyone can help explain to me the results of the following tests:

    Anti-DNA Antibody: 4.3 (range 0.0 to 3.0)

ANA Ab Titer: 1:40 (range <1:40)

    ANA Ab Pattern: Speckled

    Rheumatoid Factor: 20 (range < 19)

    Eosinophils: 5 (range 0-3)

Thank you in advance for any help!

Hi Lynne - Hasn't your husband's doctor gone over the results of the tests with him? As some of these numbers are in the high range, I would definitely make an appointment to talk with his doctor.

It would appear that his doctor is checking for systemic lupus erythematosus or rheumatoid arthritis.
