Does anyone else feel like their whole body is about to seize up? This happens to me sometimes especially on a day like today when I had to get up early, had the family arrive for lunch and had to go and see a friend this afternoon. I have been busier than I am on a "normal" day and have more pain and more cramping today than yesterday. I used to have this "seizing feeling" quite often before I knew I had FM and it used to worry me a lot. Now I think it is just part of the FM and as I try to pace myself these days -not always succesfully- I don't have this quite so often. Just curious who else may have the same problem. Love Ozgran

We have constant seizure activity in our brains and it can cause this feeling. Read Dr. Cheney's article on Klonopin in our library here. It does an excellent job of explaining all this.

To explain better,( I hope), I start to feel cramping type pains in many places, quite severe and then feel as if I am not going to be able to move. It happens neck, shoulders, arms, legs etc and I can move, but it feels like I might not be able to. Weird I know.Read Cheneys article Mikie and it could well be my problem. Am seeing this specialist in the field of CFS/FM on Wednesday so we will see what happens then. Was just interested to see who else felt something similar before I went. Have a good day. It is now after 2am over here on the 10th in Oz, and I am going to go back to bed and try to get some sleep after taking some more painkillers.love Ozgran.
