Because I feel like crap most of the time, I almost begin to think of the way I feel as being normal. But, every now and then, I have a good day, or at least a couple hours out of the day and I actually feel like I did before the fibro began. It doesn't last that long, but it definitely reminds me of the 'old me'.

Viruses will flare and subside like that...do you see a coorelation between sugar intake and flaring?

"Viruses breathe sugar" says William Wong N.D.

I am certainly in a flare when I indulge in sugar and my youngest daughter loves to bake stuff daily. I'm in trouble with her cooking.

See if eating Indian food helps you. Tumeric (curcurmin) is part of curry powder and is known to inhibit the growth of Epstein-Barr Virus.

i know. i have felt like crap for so many years, that THAT has become my normal! lately, as i have been feeling better and have had some times of not feeling exhausted - it was startling to me! like "whoa nelly , i do not feel like total crap right now- what is going on?"

i wish we could all become our "old selves" again.
