Wondering if anyone has trouble with your feet? I have terrible pain in both of my big toe joints, top and bottom. I went to a Pain Specialist (quack) but he said there is nothing wrong. Then why am I in terrible pain, and walking with a limp? "Hmmm!" I wondered if you think this is part of the fibro?

Thank-you very much for your replies. My husband bought me a book called - "Fibromyalgia & Chronic Myofacial Pain" .I cheeted and skipped ahead. I found pictures showing troubled feet, with the X's right on the same sore spots that I have. It calls the problem - "Fibrosis" Unfortunately I'm not understanding the big words, so I will be visiting a podiatrist soon. (that is - as soon as hubby's new insurance takes effect . . .just changed jobs)
    Thanks again! :)

ive just recently got the foot pain.i did have bunion pain but for some reason it doesnt bother me any more.
i dread getting out of bed in the morning and now even if i sit for awhile as soon as i'm on my feet again it hurts.i wear slippers in the house all the time but they dont have enough cushion on the bottom.
my neighbour swears on a foot massager for her foot pain, maybe you want to try that.i havent yet.
    good luck

I haven't met you yet. I also have terrible foot pain. I've had foot pain since I was about 2 years old!!!! I've had bunion surgery and surgery to get rid of a neuroma. I won't let anyone touch my feet except a PODIATRIST! They know feet inside out! I'm glad you're going to one. Let him/her take care of your feet. Let us know how it turns out, okay?

    GOOD LUCK!!!!

My legs and feet were the two places the fibro hit me first. I also have numbness in them. They are so tender that even rubbing lotion on them hurts. This numbness reachs up to my hips. There are so many different places that hurt but you can usually find someone with the same pain.

i have pain in my feet alot of the time.mine tends to be in the arch and toes.some times the massuse can't touch my feet. just part of the fibro i guess.you might try soaking your feet in warm water & epsom salt.

My foot pain comes and goes, and has varying degrees of pain. Sometimes it's one foot, sometimes it is both. Sometimes it's just sort of nagging, sometimes it is so bad it feels like there must surely be several broken bones in the affected foot or feet. It is definitely a major part of the fibro.
