I go to the ATL FFC and called a few weeks ago for another follow-up with Dr. Cuddapah, and was told he was gone. I have since hunted him down at a new clinic.

The problem is that they are giving me the big run around about getting a copy of my records. I almost never get a real person on the phone, and no one has called me back.

Anyone else run into this? Any suggestions?

    Thanks so much,

Google a sample letter for requesting your medical records. Type it and be sure to sign it. Then mail it to the Atlanta FFC. You need to include your name, date of birth, address, etc. Sometimes they will ask you to sign their form even after they receive your letter.

By law, you are entitled to a copy of your records. Got copies of all your lab work and then take them somewhere else. Some places charge for copying the records but almost all doctors and hospitals will send them to your doctor for free.
