    Hi,

Am contemplating about going to FFC in Pittsburgh, anyone have any dealings there?

    Would appreciate any comments.

Also, I have a hx of Lyme-treated years ago. Do they run tests for chronic lyme and treat?

    Thanks for any info and

    HAPPY ST. PATRICKS DAY!!!!!

    kasilou,

Although I haven't gone to the FFC in Pittsburgh, I am being treated at a different one. I have been dx with lyme and am being treated now.

With your history of lyme disease and previous treatment, it's very possible that you did not eliminate it entirely. Sometimes it goes into hiding.

What previous treatment did you recieve? For how long? Were co-infections tested for and treated as well?

Since you do have a lyme history, I recommend asking them to just go with the Igenex test, and don't waste your time with the Quest test.

Just remember, though, lyme is a clinical diagnosis. The testing is only a part of the picture.

    Wishing you the best,
    Hopeful4
