I was wondering if anyone's insurance covered the IV's offered at the FFC. In paricular, I am interested in how Aetna handled these claims.

I would appreciate any thoughts on this subject.

    Thanks,
    Shana

80% is pretty good. Any Aetna users of FFC on this board?

I have Aetna. They paid 70% of iv's and injections. After fighting with them about it.

I have BCBSTx. It covers the FFC "out of network" which means I have to file the forms myself. They pay 60% after my deductible.

The covered my viral plus IV's at 60%. They may require a letter from your doctor stating the "medical need" of the treatment tho.

I think the IV's are for viruses and/or pain.

I did get some money from insurance, but out of network which is 50-60% of reasonable and customary. It has not been an easy battle with Aetna to get the office visits covered.
