I was wondering if anyone with Fibramyalgia has experienced any vision problems, specifically with their optic nerve?
    Thank you

I have been diagnosed with optic neuropathy which is swelling of the optic nerve. It leaves damage to your vision. the last flare up that I had I lost 50% of my vision . I have been tested for everything but nothing comes up. That's why I was wondering if it could affect your vision, I have all other signs offibramyalgia but none of the doctors seem to test for fibramyalgia. Thank you for your reply.

I have pretty severe vision problems, but I have a mole in my left eye so I may or may not be atypical.

Hi Donn, welcome to the board. I don't have serious problems with my eyes, just a burring sometimes.

Hope all works out well for you.

    Again, welcome to the board.

I just thought I was losing my mind when this happened to me. The really bad flare ups do for me cause me to have problems with my eyes. They have a hard time focusing.

I will have to talk to my Doctor about it. See what he says.
