Hi! First time here! I have been suffering with fibromyalgia for almost 2 years, debilitating migraines, extreme fatigue, terrible flu-like symptoms with aches all over, etc. Recently I had to have both ovaries removed due to some problems with cysts. Since then, aside from the usual menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes, I have not had a single symptom of fibromyalgia. I have so much energy, etc., and am sleeping so well, I don't quite know how to act. Has anyone ever heard of fibro going into remission, or of fibro diminishing after the onset of menopause?? I'd be interested to know of any research relating fibromyalgia and hormones, etc. Thanks!

I've heard of major surgeries causing flares, but never have I heard of symptoms going away because of it. You're mighty lucky. Enjoy your pain free days and pray that they continue!!

    Good luck,
