For those of you who have found a good doctor, please tell me how you did it?
I am trying everything I can think of, have seen various doctors over the years. Still have not found one who is much help/well-versed in fibromyalgia.
    Any/all suggestions are welcome.

Mostly it is word of mouth to find a good fibro doctor, however there is a list of recommended doctors below you might contact and ask if they can help you. Even Montel Williams went through over 25 doctors to get his diagnosis of MS.

Thankfully, fibro is becoming more and more "validated". When I first tried to tell a doctor I thought I had fibro he laughed in my face.

When I did find a good doctor who I have seen for many years, it was a turning point. Today, with his help I am pain free.

Thank you very much, pvlady, for sending us this list.

To nightngale, I believe this originated @

    http://www.co-cure.org/Good-Doc.htm

I have a strong opinion of 1 of the listed docs. I'm uncomfortable posting it on a message board. Is it within the rules to post unflattering comments/bad experiences along with specific doctor's name?

I am VERY happy to have a list of more to try. Thanks again!
