What has been your experience with flu shots. Pros and cons with CFS and/or Fibromyalgia. I have been reluctant to have one. Age 59 now and receiving pressure from family to have the shot this year. I am worried about making things worse for myself...triggering a flare of worse symptoms etc. Thanks.

I have had a flue shot and pnuemonia shot(as needed) before and since I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I have never noticed any adverse reactions. I appreciate the fact that I don't have the flu when it goes round as I have enough trouble dealing with the cold and stuff in the winter.

I'm in the same dilemna! May have had a "negative" react-
ion to an "Ammonia/ Flu" combo about three years ago as it
is shortly there after that my CFS got started in earnest!
Doc assured me the couldn't be a connection but not con-
vinced at all. Didn't get one last year as a result. Be-
came ill enough with Flu to almost place myself in Hospital
that nite.?? Thinking of NASAL method. (??) Have to in-
    quire on this Board soon!

    Good luck with your decision!
