I was going to get a flu shot today, at a local pharmacy, but am having second thoughts. I currently have a bout of CFS which, for me, is the usual aches, pains, and that "sick feeling." I'll probably play it safe and not go, but I'd like to hear what others think. Thanks!

I get a flu shot every year early in Oct. If I don't get one I can plan on getting the flu at least once and sometimes twice. I would rather have a few days of a slightly sore upper arm. I have CFS/fibromyalgia.

I know what "they" say about the flu shot being safe, blah, blah. All I know is the last time I got one, I got sick (I have FM). Could be a coincidence, but why risk it? I have had the flu only one time in the past 5 years or so and was pretty much over it in 3 days or so.
