Hi! I just returned from a wonderful vacation in the Shenendoah Valley in western Virginia! We went to a Folk Music Festival and then did some sightseeing. Needless to say, the mountains were so beautiful and relaxing! I did, however, experience pain. We sat a long time at the festival, and also did some walking. My legs got very achy and so did my rear-end. I brought my meds with me and did get to sleep very well. But I tried to concentrate on the good parts of the trip and not dwell on the pain. I just want to say that getting away, no matter where, is a very positive thing to do. I wouldn't not go on vacation because it might cause pain. The mental relaxation I got was well worth it!!!! Now I'm home and am going to exercise soon and then sit in a hot whirlpool.
