THE WINDOW (a fibromyalgia poem) The window is all I see, almost everyday for me, Do you see me? I see the sky, the rain, the snow, the sun, I see you having fun, Do you see me? I see the birds , the bees, the flowers, the trees, I see you driving by, Do you see me? I see you running, I see you walking, I see you having fun and talking, Do you see me? Look into my window, because I SEE YOU! I am sick, I am in pain, I can not move in sun or rain, I have to pee, I need to eat, but I can not stand on my own two feet! DO YOU SEE ME? I am still ME sick in this bed, I am still me, and I still look through this window everyday and see you, When will you look into my window and SEE ME? TO ALL OF YOU OUT THERE WHO HAVE A WINDOW, I CAN SEE YOU, I HERE YOU, AND I LOOK OUT MY WINDOW THINKING ABOUT ALL THE OTHER WINDOW PEOPLE, I SEE YOU!
