I have been diagnosed a few months back, in the UK, with FMS. At the moment I am visiting my family in Germany and have just been to see a doctor for a second opinion. Even so he recognises FMS, he also said that my jaw line is very much out of place and that this affects my whole body posture. I am now getting a plate fitted to correct this. Has anyone else had any similar experience?

I found before I went to see the doctor in Germany that I am grinding my teeth very often when I am stressed, and that my jaw feels very painful.

I don't grind my teeth but wanted to BUMP you back to the top.

Hope the plate works for you.

Do you have the TMJ pain with this? I think quite a few of us do. It really hurts to chew, and my whole jaw "pops" something terrible. It's worse on my more painful days, and some days it's not there at all. The entire side of my face will hurt terribly at times. I also have a lot of tooth pain.

My dentist said appliances work for some, but not for everyone. I really hope this helps you, because it's not a lot of fun. Best of luck to you......
