The specialist I was referring to is an endoctrinologist. I was treated for years by GP's and they all said my thyroid tested in normal ranges with the dose of Synthroid I was on, but I knew better. I finally got to an endoc and he said that I did test on the LOW end of normal. He increased my dosage of Synthroid. Now I'm so warm all the time. I no longer wear socks to bed or around the house, I don't need covers, just a sheet to keep warm, and my hands or feet haven't been cold for over a year! (a year ago was when my Synthroid was increased)
