Some of us aren't getting any younger :) is the reason my brain came up with this idea...for myself, at least. But I'm not rushing!

In obituaries, they often say "in lieu of flowers contributions may be made to ........." I plan to leave a request for mine to say "The National Fibromyalgia Assn." or "The National CFS/ME Assn."

There it black and white...Any comments??

    I fully agree.

I intend to have an insurance policy pay it's benefit to the National CFIDS Foundation (

I will have a line in my obituary reading "In Lieu of Flowers, please donate to the National CFIDS Foundation, Inc.,(, in memory of all those who suffered from the so-called Chronic Fatigue Syndrome". Yes, the whole quote.

It really is a legacy to the living.

I've written a few, and fully intend to write my own. It's the epitaph that's harder. Most days I think it should be "I tried / I cared / I loved."
