    Hello all:

I heard that 'forced fear' is used to harm people and intimitate others.

    Has anyone heard of this?

It seems to have some connection with Lyme Diseases/Fibromyalgia.

Fancy semantics for bullying and intimidation.

Its a DESCRIPTIVE term used to explain a resulting condition in patients who may have forced to endure something, usually sexual or emotional abuse, war, domestic violence.

If 'forced fear'(e.g. bullying and intimidation) was a medical term, which it isn't, everyone would potentially be suffering from FM.

    Lyme is a medical condition.

    hi all:

Yes, you are right. That theory has nothing to do with Fibromyalgia. Why it was mentioned, I do not know.

I heard about it and although I do not want to admit it:
my father sexually abused me in my early years. It took a court order to stop it.

Yes, it should not be used for Fibromyalgia or anything else physical.

    Even physically: it is abuse.

Thanks for your opinions. I appreciate it because the words that I got seemed to be against all I know.
