    Forget me

    Forget me pain, forget me.

Confuse yourself some night on your journey back through sleep.

Find some dark corner in my mind in which to rest.

Nestle there and stay, please stay.

I will honour you in memory,

Speak of you at dinner parties

But you will be a past thing

    Forget me pain forget me.

I am no good host to you,

I hide all your achievements and have taught myself not to

    speak of them.

I drug you down and blunt the sharp edges of your glory.

This morning when it comes and breaks the veil of nights

And my heavy veil of sleep,

I will pray for forgetfulness for you.

    Forget me pain forget me.

Romey that was so good and I think it is in the back of all of our minds when we go to sleep that when we wake it will all be over. Doesn't matter if you've had it only a couple of months or years and years. Your poem represents all of our thoughts and prayers at night.
