Just forgot my 8th wedding anniversary. That's pretty bad when the female (not the male) forgets. The exhastion has kept me home for 2 months now. I'm going to loose me job, medical benefits. My husband works several part-time jobs but doesn't have insurance. Just went to my PCP to try to get him to cooperate with this Clinical Pharmacist that helps with bio-identical (hormone)therapy. He flat out told me he doesn't believe in it, there aren't enough studies, and he won't prescribe what she feels might help because he thinks it might hurt me. When I asked, well then do you have any better ideas he said, "just keep pushing yourself to get exercise, get better sleep, and it just is going to take time." I think it's been time enough and I need another Dr. I tried to explain that when I even go to the book store for an hour that by the time I drove home I was afraid to drive, I felt like I was going to pass out from the exhaustion. I can't stand the idea of me not working! I am a nurse and enjoy helping people, I JUST WISH I COULD HELP MYSELF!

With all you're going though it makes sense you'd forget your anniversary. Don't feel bad about it, you're only human.

I'm sorry your doctor isn't helpful - You're right to consider another doctor.

Though my g.p. is a good and compassionate doctor, he wasn't able to help the fibromyalgia beyond the main-stay treatment of anti-depressants, exercise, sleep.

Because I did not improve with the above-mentioned treatment, my g.p. agreed to refer me to to a pain management specialist.

Now that I see the specialist on a monthly basis, I'm finally beginning to experience some improvement. I've found this specialty is much more focused on relief of symptoms and quality of life issues.

Perhaps such a specialist would be helpful to your circumstances.

I wish you the best, Tammy, with your health as well as all you're going through related to your job and financial health.

    God bless you,
    Anne Theresa

I went shopping today in a very crowded store and now am in pain and also with a headache.

I should just be a shut-in. Too much of running around makes it difficult for me.

Of course, I do not want to be a 'recluse' and know I have to go to the store, but now I will go when it is less crowded.

    What exhaustion!
