Freezing juice

    I'm going to be away from home for 6 days and will not have a juicer available.

    Do you suggest that I make my juice in advance and freeze it in daily portions to take with me?

    That seems better than skipping it for 6 days. Thanks.

    Jay Kordich, the Juiceman, says that its the enzymes that really make us feel better and they are easily destroyed by heat. All canned and bottled juice is pasteurized (heated to 175°F for 30 minutes) so no enzymes.

    Frozen foods retain the enzymes so go for it.

    You can also take digestive enzymes on a road trip, taken on an empty stomach, they become systemic.
