I have had Lyme's for many years and finally was able to go off my antibiotics last August while seeing a naturopathic specialist, at the advise of my Lyme doc. But... shortly after stopping them I developed a severe neck problem, which I passed off as working too long on the computer. Then in November I started having limited motion in my left shoulder, a lot of pain and being unable to put on a coat or put my arm behind my back. In January I finally saw an orthopedic surgeon who sent me to Physical Therapy, which seemed to only make matters worst. Only now do I really know it has been the Lyme all along, the spirochete has wedged itself in to my tendons and is having a party... has anyone else had this problem? Hope everyone is hanging in there, feel better everybody!

That was one of the DX I got when I was trying to figure out what was wrong with me. (13 yrs ago)

Although I had many other bodily pains,...
I had lost range of motion in one of my arms and had/have alot of neck and shoulder pain.

An orthopedic said I had capsulitis or frozen shoulder.
I think its part of the Fibro, period.
The only thing that helped ease mine was a heating pad.
It still acts up from time to time.
I saw this mentioned on another post yesterday.??
I'l find it and bump it back up top for you.
    Hope this helps

Prickles--I went to check out your video diary and your description about feeling something pulling from the back of your knees all the way up to your shoulders is exactly how I feel, like a long rubber band that is pulled as tight as can be. Try to get a more accurate Lyme's test, I truly think this is unfortunately what is causing a lot of us our pain.

    Thanks everyone for the information...
