    'em all. Well, after all, anyone in his 60s has had time to soak up a lot of popular culture.

    Now if our schools would use the same teaching methods...

    MGM made another version of Showboat around 195l. I think the bass in the movie w/ Irene Dunne was Paul Robeson. Character was named Joe.

    I enjoyed both films. Gordon and I saw Showboat live a few years ago. The only famous person in the cast was Cloris Leachman (who did not sing) but it was a wonderful show. Great singing and dancing; music by Jerome Kern, of course.

    I used to go to live theater and operas and symphonies a lot when I was young. I was an usher; payment was the free admission.

    I missed #1, thought it was the Flintstones and the Bob Denver, I had never watched the show. Glad they were all mulitple choice or I would have been in a lot of trouble,lol Thanks-Carla

    I got them all except the Pogo one. I read the comics but never read him. I think he was a comic character !

    Thanks for this little test !! It surely did bring back memories.

    Where did you find all these questions? Just curious. That surely does show ones age, or lack of it (-: !
