    Hello -

My doctor Rx Gabitril for me about a year ago,
and I cannot remember what it is for.

It's FDA use is for seizures, but I know it has
    secondary uses too.

Do you use it? Is it to lessen pain or to help
in sedation for sleep? Or something else?
If you do use it, do you like it? Any side effects?

I'm having increased pain and problems staying asleep.
Any feedback sure would be appreciated.

    Gentle Hugs,
Jillian[This Message was Edited on 12/20/2006]

Wish I could help you, but I was one of the first people to be placed on it for CFIDS/M.E. and FM (have more than that like Lyme now - lucky me! lol) many, many years ago, and it didn't do anything good or bad for me...Nevertheless, one of my doctors placed me on it for muscle pain and spasms as well as possible energy...sort of like what Neurontin does for me...

If it's not helping you after a year, definitely speak to your doctor as there are plenty of other options out there!!

    All the best...
