Longgggg time no see! I am doing home health care on a very limited basis. This wonderful old man has decided to share his Mother's recipe for peanutbutter cake with the rest of us. I have worked on it a little...ok a us younguns can make it.

    Peanut butter cake
    french vanilla cake mix
    6-8 T.pnb
make according to package directions except for using pnb instead of the oil

    french vanilla icing
2-3 T.pnb stir until blended well put on cooled cake

I tried it with crunchy pnb in the icing and didn't like it as well as the smooth.

I haven't tried it yet, but I bet it would make great cupcakes

Hope you love it as much as we do!

    Very good B,

I did home health care for quite a few years and it was great work. Most of the old-timers had awesome tried and true recipes that were not expensive but were taste sensesions. I've got lots of goodies in my files from them.
Rocky's right on the chocolate frosting as chocolate goes with everything. Now adding the strawberry jam? Awesome idea if we put the jam than drizzle chocolate sauce over yummy. Thanks for sharing. Maineweezie
