When taking this for fibro do you still need to do the 3 months on and 3 months off or does it matter?

He said glucosamine doesn't work. I had been taking it because I am having terrible feet pain and podiatrist suggested I try it. I wasn't helping, that's for sure but was surprised to hear my rhuemy say "glucosamine does not work".
Since it didn't help me, I'm inclined to believe him.

    ... but I hadn't heard of the three-month cycle.

And I'm sorry to differ with Bre_ann's rhemy but I notice a big difference with glucosamine. In fact, one time I ran out and decided I might not need to take it. In slightly over a week I was rushing out the the store. It took another week for it to help the pain again and I haven't been without it since.

Good question for your doc (and mine at my physical next week). Maybe it depends on what type of arthritis you have? I do not have RA, just osteo.

    Best of luck to you,
