I am now taking Norco 10/325mg. There are times I take one and a half, one just doesn't cut it. I also take a muscle relaxer if needed. My dr also gave me Ultram as breakthru medicine but it doesn't seem to do much.

What would you think a good breakthur med would be?

    God bless you all.

fro breakthrough pain you could ask you dr for percocet(oxycodone w/ tylenol), or oxycodone without the tylenol. this might work better then the norco. it these don't work you could go up to oral dilaudid in increasing doses. from there some pain clinic dr's will then go to actiq(fentanyl lollipops) or roxicodone(liquid oral immediate release morphine. but honestly for most of the dr's you would have to demonstrate very severe pain to get anything beyong percocet.
    i hope this helps.

I am always afraid they think I am an old woman after drugs which isn't the case. I just need to find the right kind and amount to let me function as close to normal as possible.

thank you all for your responses
