New to posting topic. I was diagnosed about 6 years ago. My dr.wants me to find a good dr. for this DD, he is now reluctant to give me my lorcet because of fear of losing his license. He is a good dr. and has done good job, but now this has come up.Is anyone in this area that knows of a good pain specialist, I live in Eastern Okla, so I am also close to Ft. Smith, Ark. Thanks Alpha

First I want to welcome you to the board. A good place to look for doctors is the Co-Cure Good Docs list. The web addy is www.co-cure.org

I checked for you and found docs in Tulsa, Searcy and Springdale. I know Tulsa is quite a ways from the Ft. Smith area and Springdale is further north, but I can't remember where Searcy is. I think I went to college with a guy from there!

Good luck in finding a doc to help you.

we found our do 2 1/2 years ago. Glad to have you here and hope you find a great doc. These docs are getting to be real chickens and don't want the hastle that goes with stronger pain meds. What, happened to the hypacratic oth.

This is the best site we have found and all here are just like your best friend.

Welcome to you our new friend, Kim and Gary
