Yes I would like to see the name of docs please.
Also what do you mean by FFC?
I did see one doctor rheumy a couple of years a go and then stayed away since then with no help and had a similar experience. The doctors name was Dr. Cheatum. For me, I had a quick look over and was told I had immflammatory arthritis and then sent for lots of tests in his office. He did not even touch me or check any of my pains out.
I recently was looking into a Fibromyalgia Center in Adison but they are very expensive and want the money up front and then I file insurance and then that is all natural healing it seems to me through what I looked at on the Internet. I e-d the managager and it was very pricey to go there for me. Well thanks for your far I have not been able to get on websites anywhere that have referrals of docs in dallas.

I've seen Dr Vine and Dr Kier in Dallas.

Neither one was really very helpful for me.

I now go to the FFC in Dallas and see Dr Kippels. (The Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Centers). Do a search for FFC on this board and you'll get a lot of people's experiences with these clinics.

    Good luck!

In Carrollton. His phone # is 972-492-8700. He is very understanding, and has helped me get my life back. I am very well managed! He works with a pain specialist named Dr Peter Polatin. He is super, too!

Yes, Dr. Heaney has a wonderful reputation. There is a Dr. Cheatum (I love that name Dr. Cheatum and Run) and I've also been to Dr. Fleischman who was very good to me but I live in Ft. Worth. He was the original diagnoser (?)of FM for me.

The Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Centers- I did email and this was my first choice however this was my response and unforunatly can not be a choice:
Thank you for your inquiry. We do not accept insurance at our center. We give you the paperwork to file to get partial reimbursement for going to an out of network provider. You would need to check with your insurance carrier to see what they would reimburse you for. Quest labs do our lab work and they will bill your insurance for the labs.

Your first appointment is $325.00. Three weeks later another appointment for $325.00. Then all follow up appointments are $165.00 and they usually run monthly. As you get better the appointments become further and further apart.
Please give me a call if this is something you can do, or I can answer any other questions.

Anyway sounds like a wonderful place but I just do not have money to pay out of pocket like this. My other question is why go to a neurologist? I'm not too sure I understand that? Thanks for the other suggestions I welcome more it seems so difficult to get referalls anywere. Even from those of us and on similar boards. I guess I am just frustrated and need to get an appointment soon.
Thanks to those of you who have responded.
