I was just offered the position at a part-time job i interviewed for yesterday. I'm nervous and excited at the same time. It's about 20 hours a week, but they want me to become full-time by the Fall.

take it slow so you can work up to the full time status.

What kind of work will you be doing?

I'd start out as an assistant. It's for a Military Defense Lobbyist Firm. It's an incredible opportunity, I'm just afraid it will be a lot of work.

I'm just so surprised that I interviewed with them at 2pm yesterday and they offered me the position at 11am today! I must've knocked their socks off ;)

Take it easy. Don't go full-time until you're ready. When the new wears off you should be able to tell whether or not you can keep up the pace.

If you're not able to go full-time maybe they would consider hiring another part-timer if there is that much work.

    Best wishes,

    Linda

I am confident that you will do a great job!!!!

Just remember to pace yourself, especially when you get home and on your days off.
