Can't believe it! First application went in mid Nov. 05 and got letter of acceptance Jan 19/06. Feeling like I'm going downhill again though. More rest in the forecast.

I would be happy to give assistance to anyone who needs it. Love to all! Marie

It's a great feeling isn't it? I am a nurse about your age and was approved on my first try 5 years ago. It does help believe me. I hope you can get some rest now and take time to heal.

    All the best

I was a nurse too ,for 20 yrs.... I am now on disability, and getting SS checks ,will have Medicare in Feb., I am 62 .

It was a battle, but still got it after the second try, about 6 - 8 mths. later. I know there are others, that deserve it, but still haven't qualified, it is very frustrating...........

Happy for you, and glad you were not put through the wringer.. The DD's are hard enough, to bear.....
