Is there a trigger point near the groin muscle or is it a ligament. I have aching in that muscle that runs from the hip bone to the groin. It's on the right like I have strained this due to coughing or straining at a BM. Can this cause Fibro pain. Anyone else?

You can have a trigger point anywhere. Always best to assume it is one. Try mild pressure at a point mid-way between your hip and the pain. It will hurt like heck when you find it. Then press as hard as you can for a few minutes. This squeezes out fluid and brings blood into the muscle. When you let up pain will be better and later will be gone. Could pop up nearby in a day or 2. Treat new one same way. Best wishes!
