Well, I'm new to this whole Fibromyalgia thing. I have several issues including six herniated discs and torn ligaments, osteoarthritis, sciatica, neck bone spur complex, arthritis in my feet and numbess in my left hand/fingers from a rare nerve condition in my arms and I am in the process of appealing my first denial from Social Security for SSI. I was just diagnosed with the Fibromyalgia last week and will be adding that little bit of info. in to my appeal. I know that you almost always get denied the first time through. I was just wondering if anyone had any stories for me about their attempts and successes or otherwise?

Sorry, I haven't applied for SS yet. But sounds to me it ought to go through considering all of your disorders.

Maybe you need to get an attorney!
