    Hi
I was just wondering if anyone here has tried Activive. I seen it on a web site they are advertising it as all natural and that it will help Fibromyalgia. But I know there is alot of STUFF that they claim help's and it don't. I seen my Rheumy Dr about a week 1/2 ago and asked her about a Tens unit she WOULD not perscribe me one said that studies show that it only help's a certain % and it was a low % . I thought to myself so all the antidepressant are only helping a small % but that didnt stop her from writting me a persciption of Wellbutrin. It is so dishearting. I have been on no type of pain med's since i was Dx with FM so I am just trying to find something that might help even alittle. I use muscle rubs & hot baths to help me. Thank's Suzyq44

I tried a 3 month course of Activive recently & can say it didn't improve my symptoms at all. Each time you do a Google on Fibromyalgia the Activive ad's appear to jump out at you as if it's a miracle cure.
This question comes up every now & then & I think the general concensus is that it doesn't really appear to help anyone.
If you type in Activive in the search box at the top left of this page you will see all previous posts on Activive.
    Hope this helps,
    Best Wishes,Paul

My recollection is that when I was with a pain specialist that we utilized something akin to a TENS machine...I improved and didn't require one...but it would seem to me that a pain specialist is far more qualified than a rheumatologist to determine efficacy...my experience of rheumatologists is: prescription drugs...with all the various side effects.
