Has anyone here tried using a amWave Personal Stress Reliever? I just discovered info on this today, and I'm thinking about getting one, but it's kind of expensive for me. If you've tried one I'd sure like to know what you think about it.

    Hi Barb,

I'm not sure about emWave, but I saw a doctor for pain management, and he utilizes something called AlphaStim. It is an alphawave stimulator and can be used 2 different ways. Using the ear clips (you attach them to your earlobes) is suppose to be very beneficial for FMS. I have my own machine now, but since I got it, the neuralgia I have in the left side of my face and head has worsened, and I am unable to attach the clip to my left ear! When I was using it, I noticed it did improve my sleep. My insurance paid for mine, and using the probes on certain area of pain sometimes helps, but not always. I think it takes a certain technique which the doctor has, I don't. Hope this helps.

    Hugs & prayers,
