Have any of you thought of healing your immune system?

Hi....I"m not new to the boards, but new to this one.
I have a laundry list of ailments and just hours ago
I thought of praying for the healing of my immune
system! I know this is not the board for prayer but
I don't know how many visit the worship or prayer
board (if we have one). My church knows how many
illnesses I have and when I return they are going to
anoint me with olive oil and lay hands on me and pray
for the healing of my immune system so I can stop
being sick so much. I want to be healed of RA, fibro
cfs; osteoperosis, frequent colds (yes I take Vit C)
IBS, UTI's; depression on and off, possible early
early signs of neuropathy in feet as I am also diabetic.
That's enuff the my list. Podiatrist says my neuro-
pathy could clear up as he believes one of my meds
started it and now that I am off signs could leave.
I plan to go to my usual boards (all on above list
of ailments) and ask them also if they have thought
of either praying for their immune system to heal
or asking if its possible by a doctor.

    Hi Robin,
Yes I have tried prayer . Not only for my immune system but for my sanity,my husband for hanging around for this chapter of my life, my children for understanding and loving me any way,my friends in 4 states that listen to me whine and then make me laugh,my cyber friends that are there at 3am when the pain won't let me sleep and last but not least God ,who holds my hand when the pain is so bad all I can do is curl up in the corner and cry. He is always there for me. There is no way I could have lived through the last 13 years of pain without Him and His love.
May God Bless and Keep You

hI sUE, Now I think that was maybe a dumb question.
Most of us would do so under stressful circumstances
and that's what most of us live under....stress.
I MYSELF had not yet begun prayer for it! I had just
thoght of it. I had been praying for my illnesses
to go into remission...yet I get worse. My RA is often
coming up with new nodules (hard bumps under skin in vary-
ing places. One on left elbow and one new one growing
on left wrist area which makes bending my hand/wrist hard
er to do...grrrrrr) They are abnormal growths of extra
calcium compliments of RA ! The result is hard lumps,
some very small, some larger, that come up thru the skin.
I have not yet learned to enjoy life in spite of them.
I hurt so often (they hurt when growing) that my life
is a daily task of survival and taking it a minute at
a time now; I have no energy to do much more. The Lord
promised me an abundant life and He and I sure have
different ideas on what the abundant life is made up
    of !

    Faithful anyway,
