I understand that hawthorn flowers, leaves and beries are good for the heart.

I have a lovely tree full of red berries.

Does anyone know what I can do with them?

    Maybe Jeanne knows?

that had heart failure for the last few yrs of her life. She did very well on the hawthorn berry pills. I've heard it is very good for humans as well. I wouldn't know what to do with the berries themselves tho...sorry.

I just learned something new from y'all. Keep em coming.

Oh, and if hawthorn extracts are good, I imagine the berries are quite edible and most likely better than the sum of its parts. Synergy being the amazing thing that mother nature offers unadulterated. Except in rare cases where extracting a part of the plant increases the efficacy, as w/ Cat's Claw offered TOA free and giving us the powerful Samento.

Thanks folks, for the useful information. My hawthorn is full of berries. I think I will harvest them and use through the winterjust as a prvention. Can not let them go to waste. Love Denamay
