I've had this problem for a LONG time but never this bad.

I can't seem to regulate my body temperature. It's usually between 96-99 but I always feel HOT or COlD. There never seems to be a happy medium. I'll feel cold, throw on a sweatshirt, then 10 minutes feel like I'm on fire.

Does anyone else get like this? The past week has been horrible. I've been also getting my night sweets again but that's because I can't afford the $200 electric bill to keep my bedroom at 65 degrees at night anymore..

I have a bunch of things I have to go over with my doctor tomorrow and guess this is one more thing to add to the list.

    Hi Chris

I would definitely mention this problem to you doctor to get him to rule out anything other than FM.

I can only tell you how it is with me. I have FM and I feel like my body has a broken thermostat.

I am either sweating profusely or freezing.

Just another fun thing with FM.

    I definatly experience your problem.

It is, in fact, related to the FM.

Like a previous poster said, it is like having a broken thermosdat. It gets so annoying. I either have to have the blankets on or the a/c pumping.

Then in the middle of the night, I wake up either sweating or freezing.

There is definatly no happy medium.

My doctor seemed to agree that it's part of the FM..

    Thanks for your responses
