Got a phone call from a person at SS regarding my application for SSDI. She wanted to know if I had been positively diagnosed with FM while at OHSU Rheumatology Clinic. I told her that I was, and that they also suspect MPS, carpal tunnel, and possibly CFS, in addition to NMH. The nice lady said that they have received no records from OHSU concerning my 2nd visit, and no recent reports from my doctor. She said that based on what I had told her on the phone, she would send for the records, which will take 3+ weeks to get to them, but she will also ask for an exam by a neurologist, which might be quicker. My question is: What do I say & do during a neurologist's exam? I do NOT want to screw this up. Can anyone who has been there help me out here?
