I take both Bupropion 150mg 2x daily and Zoloft 100mg 1x daily for depression. I take Nexium 40mg 1 to 2x daily for ulcer and hiatal hernia. My pain meds include Norgesic Forte up to 3x daily. Lortab 10/500 up to 2x daily. I usually take half a Lortab 4x daily instead, unless the pain is worse at which time I take a whole pill. My muscle relaxant is Soma 350mg up to 3x daily. There is also a muscle relaxer in the Norgesic Forte. I have Tranxene (a benzodiazapine) 7.5mg as needed for two reasons, RLS and anxiety. And for my IBS I take Bentyl 10mg 4x daily. I have Promethazine 25mg as needed for nausea. A regular drug store around here. I hate to take all the meds but have no other choice at this time. I am a stay at home mom of a 5 and 3 year old and it is soooo hard to keep up with them. Well, there ya go!!

Check my profile and you can see what I take for my FMS that works for me.

Sorry to be so lazy that I don't want to type it all out.

To check a profile, you just click on the name on the left of the post that is in blue and wait a few seconds for the profile to load.

Happy to meet you. I'm not posting on here a lot anymore, just a bit. I'm mostly on the Diabetes board now.

I have tried many pain meds over the past three years and so far to date the only thing helping take the edge off is vicophrophin sorry about the spelling. I also take lyrica cv which is similar to nurontin. But it makes me very tired. I know I can use some good sleep which this provides. I also take amtriphtolin to help sleep too. Good luck with your pain control.

I'm on the Tietielbaum protocol so some of my meds are non traditional and are to get to the root of the CFIDS/FM or to provide essential things my body isn't getting because of it. It's personalized based on your symptoms and blood work and if you get his book your doctor can put you on it too (there is a section, about half the book, written just so your doctor knows what tests and how to treat you. Ok here goes:

1)Enzymatic Therapies- Energy Enfusion Powder (micronutrients)
    2)Vitamin B Complex
    3)Vitamin B-12 sublingual(3000mcg methylcobalamin)
    4)Pure Acetyl-L-Carnitine (500mg 2x daily)
    5)Magnesium Glycinate (150mg 2x daily)
    6)Malic Acid (300mg 2x daily)
    7)HMF Forte (acidophilis)(2 capsules daily)
    8)Cortef (Cortisol) (2.5mg 2x daily)
    9)Nystatin (two 500,000 U tablets 2x daily)
    10)Armour Thyroid (30mg daily)
    11)**Ambien (10-15mg at bedtime)
    12)**Clonazepam (1mg bedtime, 1/4mg breakfast)

**Still adjusting for optimal sleep benefits

I take a muscle relaxer and that's all. Does it work for the pain? No, but it keeps me from punching a wall so it must have some good benefits.

    For my fibro, I take:

I won't go in to all the other meds I take for other health conditions ... you would go to sleep by the time you got to the end of the list!!!! LOL
