Help, I think my twin sister has FMS

First she developed post-herpetic neuralgia (she did hurt for 2 years only in the buttocks and leg) after a bout with shingles due to an invasive lower back surgery.

Now she says I can't hug her because she is "frail". She is complaining of straining her ankles, then wrists, then neck. It remindes me how I came down with FMS...slowly, mysteriously. I thought I kept injuring different parts of my body.

It hurts me how she won't take at least advil. She says all meds are poison.

It hurts me to see her hurt, when she could perhaps reverse it early on.

Has your twin been tested for Autoimmune diseases? I think with us all, it is a good thing
to rule out that. It is a blood test called an ANA.

I have CFS with a bit of FM and a positive ANA too.

((((Hugs)))) for both of you. I have a twin who got the CFS but recovered after 6 years
in hell. Now she doesn't want to hear a single word about CFS, brings back the memories
    of it.

Sorry it took so long to reply. I don't think anybody but you understood. I'll try not to bring it up to her, so as not to upset her.

Hugs to you and your twin, Sweetheart.

    Hugs and prayers,
