Doc and I went through my lab work I had done on Monday and found that my estrogen level is 2,066 and it is suppose to be between 400-800. I have been trying to find info on the internet - but I can not find anything. I am a 31 yr old female.

I had a hystorectomy, but still have my ovaries. My thyroid has gone from being were it should to being to high again in the last year. Doc is going to consult with an endocrinologist. I am just trying to do some research myself. Since you all have always had such wonderful knowledge of things I thought I would ask.

    Thanks!!

Go to Dr.Lam's site, he talks about this. You probably need to balance it out with some progesterone. Might be a good idea to have your progesterone levels checked too.
    Good luck with this....

My daughter (32) has been learning a lot about this because she had breast cancer and needs to keep her estrogen levels low. Other steroid hormones can be converted to estrogen (pregnenolone, DHEA, progesterone, cortisol, testosterone, and androgens).

You might want to see an OB/GYN or hematologist/oncologist since they deal more with aromatase inhibitors to keep estrogen levels down. Aromatase is usually the culprit.
