My rheumatologist told me years ago to wear lycra top and pants, close to the skin, under my regular clothing in the wintertime. It keeps your body heat IN and heat reduces body pain. This really helped me in my early years with fibro (15 years ago) and I still wear them to keep my body warm in wintertime. It makes sense. Won't cure you but will help you stay warm, and warm is key in controlling pain. I also sleep warm...but with cool air. An electric blanket to warm my body controls the night pain, and cool air to breath controls the headaches. We are over sensitive to outside stimuli in fibromyalgia so a hot room will cause a headache. Waking with a headache? Try sleeping with some cool air. But keep your body warm always!
