Out of topic, but the guitar and fingers hurting- ya need to roughen your skin, keep playing when it hurts, be tough. Soon you'll have perfect fingertips that are hard, and you can focus on accually learning instead of hurting. Who am I to say anything? Uh, I played bass guitar for many years professionally, everything from trash metal to fine jazz (never ever used plectrum). Playing for passion should be the focus, the guys who played for "attraction" was lousy anyway. I know, you were just jokin'!! I hope you'll pick that guitar up! Do it while you can, I have severe arthritis and FM in my hands and can hardly hold a piece of paper for more than a few minutes now!
