Just checking since I haven't seen or heard from you in awhile. Hope all is well with you and the family - inc. Kevin, Rosie, Beety and Faithy and that the older kitties are getting used to the "baby".

Nothing to much going on here after our trips to see daughter and then to the casinof for an overnight. Actually broke even which was a good thing.

The daughter who had the bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction is doing very well. Also, she made the right decision on the bilateral as afterwards, they found that the other breast had a very small tumor also.

Hoping that you are feeling OK and not visiting because of how you are feeling, and that perhaps you are just busy.

Drop a line when you can. I have to go and get my hair done. I need it SOOO badly.

I should have directed this thread to both of you since you haven't been on here lately either, at least not posting.

Thanks for thinking of me and us. I have thought of you too as well as other Porchies who have become MIA over time.

Hope you get to feeling up to posting soon.

    Hugz and blessings,

Diane, I just wished you well under the two-faced cat thread. I've been keeping you in my thoughts with that crud. Hope you get better.

Granni, I was wondering how your DD was doing post surgery. Hoping all continues to go well. Glad she made the right and safe decision.

Leah, hope you are doing well. Miss your posts when you're not around.

    Love, Mikie

Sorry to hear that you are feeling bad, both you and Kevin. Hope you get rid of that stuff soon. I too have to be careful with that URI stuff and have had problems with it since a child.d with the throat thing with larygitis

Have you been taking GSE or should I say more of it? Not to long ago I started with laryngitis which usually is the start of something to come, that I don't want. I usually take 200 mg 2x a day. I happened to have a bottle of 100 mg. extra, instead of the 200 mg bottles I have.. So, I started taking it at lunch time besides the 200 mg in the am and pm. I did this for a few days and it finally went away. Maybe it could help you. I already take a lot of Vit C in my vit. packets.

Mikie, Diane and Leah - My daughter who had the surgery is doing very well. It is a good thing she decided to have the bilateral mastectomy since after the surgery they found another small growth in her other breast. Her lymph nodes are clear and the drains were removed. They will start to have her breasts inflated ( a little at a time) sometime this week, I believe. Everyone is very happy that she seems to be doing very well. She also was on less pain pills not sure if she is still taking them or not right now. At the beginning she was taking 6 a day ,I think.

Hope to see you both posting more as you feel better, Diane and Leah.

    Love to you all,

Good to see all of you. Best wishes, Granni for your daughter and her recovery. She did what I would do if faced with that decision, but it's a tough one.

Diane, I'm so sorry to hear you've been "ailing" and hope you're turning the corner into better health. It must be tricky having a kitten when you're feeling rough.

Fingers crossed for better health for you and Kevin.

    Skritches to the kitties,
