I'm getting a sleep machine home on the 29th to monitor my sleep. I MAY be referred to a sleep clinic after this depending on the readings.

Has anyone else had a sleep machine home and what was the outcome. I imagine the readings wont be as thorough as the ones used on an overnight stay in hospital.

I'm afraid I wont sleep at all, sometimes I dont get to sleep til 6 or 7am.

    Thanks

Our son tried one, and it didn't work at all the first night. We took it home a second night and it didn't indicate any abnormalities. Then we saw an endocrinologist, and he laughed off the home sleep study and said it was a "poor man's test."
So you may want to follow up with a better one....

it's done in UK and we dont have a choice, if it doesnt work then they MIGHT refer me to a sleep hospital.

    Thanks, that's what I thought.
