    Hi y'all,

I'm trying to post more movie pics, and didn't want to interfere with Rock's thread. So, here's Volume 2.

Remember to go back to Rock's thread, see if there are any unidentified pics!

    GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

    Diane :)

    Hi Diane

    You found some good pics.

Well, most of those folks look vaguely familiar. And Marilyn Monroe looks extremely
familiar. I recently read that her husband Joe DiMaggio was present when this
scene was being shot. Writer-Director Billy Wilder did take after take which
really infuriated Joe and led t0 the divorce. Like all Hollywood stories, you never
    know how true it is.

Billy also directed Marilyn in Some Like It Hot.
    Marilyn drove Billy crazy. Came to work hours late; brought her own drama coach;
was impossible to work with. Afterwards he said, "I could have hired my Aunt
Minnie. She would have been on time and known her lines. Unfortunately, nobody
would pay to see my Aunt Minnie."

Picture number 4 is (left to right) Myrna Loy, Asta, William Powell. They made
    several Thin Man films.

Picture number 2 is Jack Lemmon and Shirley. They made 2 films together.
Irma La Douce and The Apartment. This doesn't look like Paris, so it must be
    The Apartment.

I'll leave the rest for our other film fans.

Diane, the ones I recognize are 2, 4, 7 (the same ones Rock identified), and I think 6 is Arsenic and Old Lace, Cary Grant. GB

Yup, it's Cary Grant. The two old ladies were played by veterans Josephine Hull and
    Jean Adair.

The Bonnie and Clyde death car was a stolen 1934 Ford V8. It was displayed for decades
at fairs, etc. The car had many bullet holes. Hundreds. Bonnie and Clyde had survived
previous shoot outs with the cops and had killed 9 policemen and several civilians.
This time the cops were determined to give them no chance to escape.

One of my friends grew up in a small city named Carlsbad, New Mexico. It's near
the caverns. The big industry was mining potash. Anyway a local lawman had
been in the posse that ambushed the deadly duo. He was frequently interviewed
    by authors, news folks, etc.

Oops! Posted on the wrong volume. I'm getting more and more
    Alzheimery all the time. Uff-da!

Dunno about number one. Ann Margaret?

    Hi everybody, GREAT GUESSES!!!!!!!

    PICTURE 1)
CLUE-- The stars are John Wayne and Kirk Douglas. (I chose NOT to post THEIR pics. LOL)

    PICTURE 3)
CLUE-- Think "Poe", and -- of course, Vincent Price!

    PICTURE 5)
CLUE-- A "dark comedy" from "The Master of Suspense"; "The Beaver" and "Warren Beatty's sister" also starred.

Y'all guessed the other pics correctly!!! Hooray!

    Diane :)

John Forsyth in The Trouble With Harry.

Douglas and Wayne were in a couple of pix together. In Harm's Way and
The War Wagon. But I can't tell who the actress is. I think I have mild

Vincent Price was in a movie called The Raven. Still don't know who the
    actress is though.

Gordon got a movie on DVD at the library. The title is The Smurfs. The
are, however, two problems with DVDs from our library. You can only
keep them 4 days and they frequently are too beat up to play properly.
Anyhoo I am going to try and watch it today. No popcorn and
    Jr. Mints though.

A very nice Quiz, Diane. A good quiz should have both easy and hard questions.
