    Hi Kiddo

Just woke up from my nap. Pic number 2 is everydobby's favorite waif
Audrey Hepburn. Probably from Breakfast at Tiffany's.

Number 3 looks like Jimmy Stewart and Kim Novak in Vertigo. Released
the year I was graduated from High School.

Number 5 is one of the silent screen's great stars Gloria Swanson with
William Holden in Sunset Boulevard. I read that the house in the picture
was actually on Wilshire Blvd. The Getty Oil company bought it and
tore it down. I've also read a couple times that Mae West was asked to
do the picture. She turned it down. Didn't think it was consistent with
    her screen persona.

Gloria Swanson said in her autobiography that she hoped the movie
would revive her career, but it didn't.

Dunno about the other two. Hard to identify the guy in the first pic
with his face turned. As for the car, it's definitely not Herbie from
    Disney's The Love Bug.

I think the car is from Bonnie & Clyde's death scene. I did a search and found it was shot up everywhere. Now is this the REAL car or the fake from the movie?

I have no idea who the handsome actor is

Could #1 be 'Leave Her to Heaven', Cornel Wilde and Gene Tierney? I know #3 is Vertigo, I've seen it so many times! :) GB

The Bonnie and Clyde death car was a stolen 1934 Ford V8. It was displayed for decades
at fairs, etc. The car had many bullet holes. Hundreds. Bonnie and Clyde had survived
previous shoot outs with the cops and had killed 9 policemen and several civilians.
This time the cops were determined to give them no chance to escape.

One of my friends grew up in a small city named Carlsbad, New Mexico. It's near
the caverns. The big industry was mining potash. Anyway a local lawman had
been in the posse that ambushed the deadly duo. He was frequently interviewed
    by authors, news folks, etc.

Well, I posted some pics, but I put the post on Vol number 2 instead of number 3.
It's getting harder and harder to post. Uff-da.
