I had a surgical menopause and everything was fine until this DD.

I still occasionally get hot flashes, break out in a sweat, and get extremely thirsty.

I think it is FM - not hormonal.

    Anyone else have this problem?

I have these, very bad lately. I had them a couple of years ago, then I began HRT. I stopped the HRT, they went away, and now, "they're back".

I can't stand them; awful. Never feel clean. I have no idea what is causing them now, maybe meds? Not sure.

Not much help but can relate.

yes, my dear are in our

Its really no laughing matter. Mine are sooo bad that I have to sit or lie down when they hit me. I get so drained and hot that I can bareley function. I am now on an HRT patch and it has helped alot...but still get them.

I also read that it can be a side effect of some medications, like Cymbalta, which I am on too.

I hope you find some relief,

I am not in menopause or early menopause and I still get hot flashes all the time. I find them very debilitating. I have these cool packs that I put around my neck when they happen. I know some of it is reaction to my pain meds.
